The Royal Canadian Mint released the Canadian Silver Timber Wolf Bullion Coin in 2013.
Made of 99.99% fine silver, the Canadian Timber Wolf is the first coin released in the 1oz Canadian Wildlife Silver Bullion Coin Series.
Obverse
The design of the 2011 1 oz. Silver Canadian Timber Wolf bullion coin is modeled directly after the highly successful 2006 1/2 oz. Canadian Silver Timber Wolf bullion coin.
The obverse displays the profile of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Canadian portrait artist Susanna Blunt.
Inscriptions:
The edge of the silver bullion coin is reeded.
Reverse
The silver coin displays a Canadian Timber Wolf, designed by the Canadian Royal Mint's senior engraver, William Woodruff, is displayed standing on a mountain landscape with the moon above and trees in the background.
